"Here I Am"
Here I Am is a 3 year old neutered male with natural ears who is currently living with one of our foster families. He is leash trained and housebroken. He has a good temperament and is good with other dogs. Here I Am was living with a family who took him in after his original owner passed away. The family had too many dogs and could no longer afford to care for Steele and his brother, Steele.

"Regis"
Regis is the senior boy who was dropped off at a kill shelter because his owner had to move and could not take Regis with him. Regis was removed from the kill shelter by Kathy Dorwart and she made arrangements for him to be boarded and up for adoption at the ASPCA in her area. Regis regretfully was not adopted at that time so it was imperative a foster home be found for him. Thanks to Laura Mills, a foster home was found for Regis. Regis is now happily living with Kathy Durand, her husband and 2 other GPs in Ohio. Regis had to be transported from Maryland to Ohio. Since he is a senior flying would have been difficult for him, so Rescue hired a private transport company to move him. Yes, your rescue funds at work! Kathy Durand, being a great foster mom, took Regis to the vet. He had a severe ear infection and was given medications to clear up the infection. It was also discovered that Regis has a large mass on his spleen. All involved felt at his age surgery would be too much for him to endure. After talking with Kathy Durand, she has agreed to foster him permanently. The latest update from Kathy is Regis has gained weight and the mass on his spleen has not gotten any larger. They truly enjoy having Regis as part of their family.
