Foster Homes
Because German Pinscher Rescue does not have a brick and mortar facility in which to care for German Pinschers who enter our rescue program, sometimes we require volunteer foster homes to temporarily add a rescue German Pinscher to their family. If you would be willing and able to assist in housing and training of a rescue German Pinscher, please contact Sharon Asher for more details.
Transportation Assistance
Occasionally, a German Pinscher is in need of rescue who is in an area remote from any of the committee members. Air travel is stressful to the rescue German Pinscher as well as cost prohibitive. German Pinscher Rescue relies on the kindness of others to assist in escorting a rescue German Pinscher from one place to another. We draw from our volunteer list to make the trip as quick as possible for each volunteer as we relay the rescue German Pinscher to its destination. If you would be willing and able to assist in the transport of a rescue German Pinscher, please contact Sharon Asher for more details.
Home Screeners
In the event that the individual desiring to adopt a rescue German Pinscher does not live within reasonable distance from any of the committee members, additional assistance is required to ascertain that the new home is suitable for the German Pinscher. Dog- and people-savvy individuals wishing to help verify future forever homes for a rescue German Pinscher, please contact Sharon Asher for more details.
